President & CEO
Mike is a proven medical technology executive who joined LABORIE in 2017 as President & CEO. Prior to joining LABORIE, Mike held the role of Chief Commercial Officer for Smith & Nephew, leading global commercial operations for a $4.8 billion medical technology company. He also served as President of its Advanced Surgical Devices Division, comprised of the Orthopedic, Trauma and Endoscopy businesses and President of the Endoscopy Business Unit. Mike’s previous experience includes executive leadership roles at Kendall Healthcare, Tyco Healthcare, and CEO of MicroGroup, a privately-held medical manufacturing business.
CFO / COO
Paul joined LABORIE in 2018 as COO responsible for Global Operations - Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Customer Service and Technical Support. In 2019 he was also appointed to serve as LABORIE’s CFO. Prior to joining LABORIE, Paul held the role of Senior Vice President & GM of Orthopedic Products for Cardinal Health. He also held numerous Executive roles in Finance, Commercial and Operations at Smith & Nephew, both in Europe, Australia and the United States. Paul holds an undergraduate degree in Finance from the University of Leeds and is a chartered accountant.
Chief Corporate Development Officer
Jeff leads Strategy and Business Development. Prior to joining LABORIE, Jeff held the role of Chief Corporate Development Officer at Healogics, as well as SVP Corporate Development and Head of Corporate Venture Fund at Smith & Nephew. Jeff also held executive roles of increasing responsibility in Corporate Development at GE Healthcare. He has closed 50+ transactions with cumulative deal value greater than $35 billion. Jeff holds a BS Biochemistry from University of Michigan and an MBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Chief HR Officer
Andrea leads Human Resources, Internal Communications and serves on the Compliance Committee. Prior to joining LABORIE, Andrea was a Sr Director of Human Resources at Smith & Nephew where she worked in numerous global HR roles over 14 years. Most recently she was responsible for HR integration as a part of Smith & Nephew’s Business Development and M&A as well as leading the expansion of Global Business Services. Andrea graduated from the University of Massachusetts and holds a degree in Business.
EVP & GM, GI GBU
Holger leads the GI Global Business Unit as well as managing Urology Sales in Europe and serves as Managing Director in Europe. He has more than 25 years of experience in the life science and healthcare industry, previously serving as President and European Managing Director for Ormco (Danaher) Dental EMEA & India as well as assignments with Ansell Healthcare, Johnson & Johnson and ConvaTec. Holger holds a degree in Marketing Communications.
EVP & GM, Urology GBU
Ian joined LABORIE in 2015 to lead Marketing and was promoted to the role of EVP & GM of the Urology Global Business Unit in 2018. Prior to joining LABORIE he was the Director of Medtronic’s Cardiac Vascular group in Canada, where he worked for 8 years in various marketing functions. Before Medtronic, Ian was with Bristol Myers Squibb’s stand-alone medical imaging division in Sales and Marketing. Ian also worked at Maxxam Analytics, Canada’s largest private analytical testing laboratory. Ian has an Honours Biology and Business degree from Wilfrid Laurier University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
EVP of Indirect Markets and Professional Affairs
In addition to Professional Education, Christine is responsible for working with Distributors to grow LABORIE business in select established markets, as well as to develop and expand the Company’s presence in Emerging Markets. She has an extensive breadth of global market development, sales leadership, marketing, sales operations and professional education experience in the medical technology space. Christine has 25 years’ international business experience with Smith & Nephew, an MBA from Boston College, and a BS in International Relations from Georgetown University.
EVP of Quality Affairs and Product Development
Dan leads Quality, Regulatory, Clinical and Product Development in addition to serving as chair of the Compliance Committee. Dan joined LABORIE in 2018 through the Cogentix acquisition, where he led R&D, Clinical, Regulatory, Quality and Reimbursement Services. During his 4 years with Cogentix, he also led Healthcare Affairs and held other senior level positions. Prior to Cogentix, Dan was a Sr. Director of Clinical Affairs at St Jude Medical. He graduated from Northwestern University in Illinois and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering.
Chief of Staff
Kelley brings 30 years of experience managing the offices of C-level executives and Presidents. She joined LABORIE after 21 years with Smith & Nephew, a publicly-traded medical device company. Her background includes a decade with Daly & Company, a privately-held professional services firm where she held various positions including Office Manager, Vice President of Operations and General Manager. Early in her career she supported senior partners of international accounting and law firms from their Boston offices. Kelley has a degree from Bryant University.
