Paediatric Urodynamics Course

Understanding childhood bladder dysfunction

May 9-10

This two-day course covers normal childhood bladder and bowel anatomy and function along with an outline of Bladder Bowel dysfunction (BBD). The bulk of the course will cover urodynamic assessment of BBD.

Day 1

  • Normal bladder function
  • Causes of urinary incontinence
  • Bladder diaries
  • Uroflowmetry EMG Ultrasound
  • Biofeedback training
  • Superficial neuromodulation
  • Hands-on workshops

Day 2

  • Invasive urodynamics: Cystometry, Videourodynamics, ambulatory urodynamics
  • Hands-on workshops

TARGET AUDIENCE

It’s suitable for health professionals working in the field of Childhood BBD including doctors, nurses or therapists, who would like to further their practice or expertise, as well as those who are starting out in this work and would like a course focusing on these aspects.

£130/day medical professionals, £65/day nursing and allied staff (lunch included)

One or two day registration is possible and certificates of attendance will be provided.
