President and Chief Executive Officer
Prior to joining LABORIE in July 2013, he served as Executive Vice President and General Manager of Invacare’s $1 billion North and South American homecare and rehabilitation business. Brian has also held executive positions with Baxter International and American Hospital Supply, with assignments in Canada, Australia and the USA. Brian holds a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from Wilfrid Laurier University.
Chief Scientific Officer
Ing worked alongside LABORIE founder, Ray Laborie, since the initial days of urodynamic system development. Ing is actively involved with Key Opinion Leaders, developing research protocols and publications. Ing is a graduate of the University of Waterloo and is a licensed professional engineer.
Chief Financial Officer
Walter brings over two decades of financial leadership experience to his role. Prior to joining LABORIE, he served as Chief Financial Officer at Dynacare for 12 years, Senior Vice President of Finance at Mosaic Sales Solutions and Senior Manager at KPMG in Toronto.
A Chartered Professional Accountant, Walter holds a Bachelor’s in Economic History from Swansea University and an MBA from Queen’s University.
Executive Vice President, North American Sales
Paul leads the U.S. and Canadian Sales organizations.
Paul previously served as Executive Vice President at Shoppers Drug Mart where he was responsible for the operations of their 1300 pharmacy chain network.Prior to that, was President of Shoppers Home Healthcare, a subsidiary of Shoppers Drug Mart.
During his 18-year tenure with Air Liquide S.A., Paul served as President and CEO of their Healthcare subsidiary in Canada and as VP of International Business Development and Acquisitions of their Homecare Business in France.
Paul holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Concordia University in Montreal and is a CPA, CA.
Managing Director, Europe and International
Holger leads the European and International organization and is responsible for sales, marketing, and operations.
He has more than 25 years of experience in the life science and healthcare industry serving as President and European Managing Director for Ormco (Danaher) Dental EMEA & India as well as assignments with Ansell Healthcare, Johnson & Johnson and ConvaTec
Holger holds a degree in Marketing Communications and has completed several executive management courses in J&J, Stanford and Danaher.
Executive Vice President, Global Physician Relations
Peter has been with LABORIE for 31 years and is responsible for expanding relationships with Key Opinion Leaders around the globe. Previously, Peter was the SVP of North American Sales and Marketing at LABORIE. He was also a board member of the American Urogynecology Research Founding.
Executive Vice President & Chief Strategy Officer
Russell is responsible for business development and strategic planning.
Before joining LABORIE he served as the Chief Operating Officer and founding partner of T-DOC® Company, LLC, a leading manufacturer of Urologic diagnostic products. His prior experience included 23 years at PepsiCo, most recently as the Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of its Strategic Sourcing Consortium.
Russell holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering from Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA.
VICE PRESIDENT, Global MARKETING
Ian is responsible for all marketing functions.
Prior to joining LABORIE he was the Director of Medtronic’s Cardiac Vascular group in Canada, where he worked for 8 years in various marketing functions. Before Medtronic, Ian was with Bristol Myers Squibb’s stand-alone medical imaging division in Sales and Marketing. Ian also worked at Maxxam Analytics, Canada’s largest private analytical testing laboratory.
Ian has an Honours Biology and Business degree from Wilfrid Laurier University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
VICE PRESIDENT, SALES & MARKETING, USA
Craig is responsible for managing the Sales and Marketing team in the United States. He has 25 years of medical sales and sales management experience. Craig holds a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from Southern Methodist University.
General Manager, GI Solutions
Albert is responsible for LABORIE’s GI business unit. He provides leadership and strategic direction towards developing LABORIE’s GI product and service portfolio through advanced technology. He also manages Unisensor, an innovative diagnostic catheter manufacturer in Switzerland and USA.
Prior to joining LABORIE, Albert spent 24 years as Chief Technology Officer and R&D Manager for Medical Measurement Systems (MMS).
Director of International Sales
Wilfried is responsible for sales of LABORIE’s products through our global network of international distributors.
Before joining LABORIE, he served as the Director of Sales and Marketing for Medical Measurement Systems (MMS), a global market leader in gastrointestinal diagnostics and urodynamics.
Wilfried holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and Commerce from Saxion University, Enschede, Netherlands.
Director of Sales, Europe
Simona is responsible for Sales in European direct markets. She has more than 10 years of experience in the medical device industry having worked in international Sales and Marketing roles with General Electric’s Life Care Solutions, Olympus Medical UK Middle East and Africa and Johnson & Johnson’s Ethicon Endo-Surgery.
Simona holds an MBA from Bocconi and Kenan-Flagler Business Schools and a degree in Political Science.
Vice President, Global Operations
Robert is responsible for managing all aspects of global operations including manufacturing, supply chain, customer service, technical support and IT.
He provides leadership and direction to accelerate growth through focused strategy development and disciplined execution.
Prior to joining LABORIE, Robert served as Managing Director of T-DOC® Company, LLC, a leading manufacturer of urology, urogynecology, and anorectal manometry diagnostic products. Robert previously held roles with Anheuser-Bush InBev.
Robert holds an undergraduate degree in Finance and an MBA from Auburn University.
Vice President, Regulatory Affairs & Quality Assurance
Kate leads the global regulatory and quality teams to ensure compliance with regulations in our global markets. Her Regulatory Affairs role includes oversight of global registrations, external and internal auditing for compliance and due-diligence, labeling compliance, post-market surveillance and regulatory strategies for new products.
Kate held quality, regulatory, technical and product leadership roles in medical device companies for 20 years prior to joining LABORIE. She has 10 years of diverse technical and product management roles in Silicon Valley.
Kate has a degree in Computer Science from Brown University.
DIRECTOR, Global MARKETING
Michael Wong is LABORIE’s Global Marketing Director. In his role, Michael is responsible for the overall growth of LABORIE’s core business in Urology and Urogynecology. He provides leadership and drives excellence in all forms of upstream and downstream marketing activities.
Michael brings over 20 years of healthcare experience to his role. Prior to joining LABORIE, he was the Director of Product Management – Radiology Infrastructure for McKesson Imaging & Workflow solutions where he had worked for 12 years. During this time, he had led teams in both Product Management & Product Marketing both in North America and McKesson’s International business helping to drive growth in new products and geographic expansion.
Michael holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from McMaster University.
Director of Human Resources
Victoria’s mandate is to develop and implement people strategies that align with strategic business goals, drive employee engagement, and to ensure compliance with regulations in all countries of operation. Her ultimate objective is to ensure that it is a great place to work. She has previously held HR leadership roles with large multi-nationals including KPMG and EDS.
Victoria holds a degree in Political Science and Economics from King’s College, is certified in Change Management, and is a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR).
