Donna Lowery is our Presenter for the Practical One Day Training Course. She also created the presentation that you will see today. Donna is a native of southeast Michigan, born and raised in Detroit. She began her nursing career in 1981, graduating from the Shapero School of Nursing in Detroit. She has been working in the field of urology since 1981, specializing in urodynamics since 1986. Donna began performing video urodynamic testing on a full time basis at the Detroit Medical Center, and remained there until joining Laborie Medical Technologies in June of 2000. She is a member of SUNA (Society of Urologic Nurses and Associates) and ICS (International Continence Society). When Donna began with Laborie, she traveled throughout the North Central U.S. installing urodynamic and biofeedback equipment, and training both our new and experienced customers. She also provided service support and preventive maintenance. In June of 2005, Donna became Laborie Medical’s first Clinical Applications Director. She is responsible for reviewing and developing training protocols for Laborie clinical staff; reviewing and assessing all clinical material prepared by or for the company; training all company and distributor personnel involved with products, and assessing the clinical applications of new and existing products.
