Q1: Where can I find the Agenda for the course in which I am interested?

Q2: What time does the course start and end?

The 2.5 Day UDS Course starts on Thursday at 4:00pm (report to meeting room at 3:45pm). This course ends on Saturday at 4:00pm. The Practical One Day Course starts on Thursday at 8:00am (report to the meeting room at 7:45am). This course ends at 5:00pm. The Interpretation Course starts at 8:00am (report to meeting room at 7:45am). This course ends at 5:00pm. The Pelvic Floor Rehab Course starts on Friday at 8:00am (we will meet for Breakfast in a separate room at 8:00am). This course ends on Saturday at 4:30pm.Top


Q3: What does the Hotel cost?

Hotel costs vary from city to city, but generally run from $139.00 to $159.00 USD. Call the Course Coordinator to verify the hotel cost for the course in which you are interested. Quoted rates are based on single occupancy, and do not include local taxes or other fees assigned by the individual hotel property.Top


Q4:Is there a complimentary shuttle? If not, how much does a shuttle or taxi cost from the airport to the hotel?

Some hotels provide complimentary airport transportation, but otherwise transportation costs vary depending on the city. Call the Course Coordinator to verify the cost for the course in which you are interested.Top


Q5:Do I need to prepare for the course in advance?

For the 2.5 Day UDS Course, Laborie suggests that you have at least 3 months’ experience in performing urodynamics before attending this course. Otherwise, there is no preparation, experience, or title required to attend any of our courses.Top


Q6:Do I need to bring / wear scrubs? What is the attire?

No, scrubs are not required. Attire at all courses is business casual. Depending on the course, you will be sitting for long periods. Sweaters and jackets are recommended as hotel conference rooms can be cool.Top


Q7:Are the meeting and the guestrooms at the same property?

Yes. Laborie always books the same hotel property for the guestrooms as well as the meeting room.Top


Q8:Which meals are included in my registration fee?

2.5 Day UDS Course: Thurs. afternoon break, Thurs. eve dinner, Friday and Saturday breakfast, lunch and refreshments breaks are included. Pelvic Floor Rehab Course: Breakfast, lunch, and refreshment breaks are included for both days. Practical One Day Course: Lunch and refreshment breaks are included. Interpretation Course: Lunch and refreshment breaks are included.Top


Q9:Why do I need to complete the Pre-Course questionnaire?

The Questionnaire allows Laborie and the presenter to tailor each course to the experience of that particular group of attendees. Also, we like to know if you are having any particular difficulties so we can address them during the course.Top


Q10:At what point is my registration confirmed?

Course registration is not confirmed until your payment is received. Top


Q11:Can attendees enter the patient exam room during the UDS study at the 2.5 day UDS course?

Depending on the host clinic and the particular patient, it is sometimes possible to be in the exam room. The host nurse at the clinic will advise the group if it is possible.Top


Q12:Can my spouse/family member join me for meals during the course?

No, unfortunately we are not able to accommodate any guests during meals.Top


Q13:Will I receive a certificate at the end of the course?

Yes, provided you have attended the course in its entiretyTop


Q14:Can I receive the discounted hotel rate at any time before the course?

The Laborie group discounted rate is only good until the date listed on your confirmation letter. After the cut-off date, you will not be guaranteed a room at the property and the hotel will quote you their current room rate.Top


Q15:Should I make my hotel and travel arrangements before I receive the course confirmation from Laborie?

No. You will not know if there is a spot available in a certain course until you have received a confirmation from Laborie. You should not make any arrangements until you have received the confirmation.Top


Q16:What time should I fly in and out from the course?

You should plan to arrive in plenty of time to be present at the start of the course. You should not book a flight earlier than at least 2 hours after the course ends. This will allow you time to get to the airport, check in and clear security. Laborie Medical will not be able to provide course certificates to any attendee who leaves the course early.Top


Q17:What if I have to cancel my registration?

Cancellation policy: Cancellations made 11 days+ before first course day - Laborie will apply course fee to a future course OR refund tuition minus an administrative fee. Cancellations made 10 days or less before course will not be refunded or applied to future courses.Top
