Simon Foundation for Continence
The Simon foundation is a non-profit corporation dedicated to: "Bringing the topic of incontinence out of the closet, removing the stigma surrounding it, and providing help and hope for people with incontinence, their families, and the health professionals who provide their care."
Ray Laborie, the founder of Laborie Medical Technologies, was on the planning committee of the foundations’s “2007 Conference: Innovating for Continence: The Engineering Challenge”. The conference was aimed at stimulating fresh thinking on improving technologies for continence care; it took place in April, in Chicago, Illinois.

Canadian Continence Foundation
Founded in 1986, The Canadian Continence Foundation is the only (Canadian) national non-profit organization serving the interest of people experiencing incontinence. The organization is led by people with incontinence and by professionals from all health disciplines. The Canadian Continence Foundation is supported by donations from the public healthcare professionals and private industry.

Canadian Urological Association
This year, Laborie Medical Technologies has supported the printing and distribution of the voiding diary developed and tested by the Canadian Urological Association.
It is recommended by all authorities that a voiding diary be completed by a patient before any urodynamic investigations are undertaken. This voiding diary is available for all to use and may be downloaded from this website. Click here to go directly to the voiding diary. Doctors will also be able to download a dynamic version that can be personalized with their name and office information

Friends of IUGA
The International Urogynecological Association (IUGA) is an international organization committed to promoting and exchanging knowledge regarding the care of women with urinary and pelvic floor dysfunction. IUGA was founded in 1975 and has organized scientific meetings every year in nearly every corner of the world to promote the exchange of urogynecological information to thousands of physicians and healthcare providers.
The main goal of Friends of IUGA program is to raise funds for the educational activities of International Urogynecological Association; these activities include exchange programmes with India and South Africa, and the development of educational guidelines.

European Association of Urology
The European Association of Urology (EAU) represents more than 16,000 urology professionals across Europe and worldwide. Its mission is to raise the level of urological care in Europe. Each year, EUA selects a promising young European urologist, who is considered to be one of the future leaders in academic European urology, and awards that person the prestigious “Crystal Matula”.
